Volunteer Appreciation Celebration Enjoyed by All

Over 75 people attended KFP’s Volunteer Appreciation Celebration held recently at the Waxman Chabad Center. Dedicated volunteers, board members, staff, and guests enjoyed a lovely dessert reception followed by a program including words of wisdom from Rabbi Yossi Freedman and Mrs. Devorah Alevsky as well as short speeches by several volunteer representatives and our board co-chairs. Certificates of Appreciation were handed out to each KFP volunteer, and a new KFP video created for the occasion was debuted (watch it below.)

Herb Resnick received the Rivka Goldstein Volunteer of the Year award, named for KFP’s previous Pantry Manager who was in attendance and presented him with a special framed certificate. The honoree was selected for his outstanding dedication at drive-thru pick-ups where he helps hand out food to families and gives special treats to children.

KFP appreciates our volunteers every day—this event was just one way to show it!
